How do I use InkyNail Strips?
Apply a heart sticker to a clean, dry nail and press it down for a few seconds. When you want to check your drink, put a single drop on the heart using a straw or your fingertip, then check the color against the guide on the pack. Please don't dip the sticker into your glass.
What does InkyNail detect?
InkyNail Strips are designed to indicate the presence of GHB, one of the drugs most commonly used for drink spiking. They don't detect every possible substance, and they don't measure alcohol content.
How fast do I get a result?
Within seconds. If GHB is detected, the heart changes color. Always read the result within the time shown in the instructions on the pack.
Does a negative result mean my drink is safe?
No. InkyNail is a screening tool, not a guarantee. A drink can still contain substances the test doesn't cover or amounts below what it can detect. Always trust your instincts. If something feels off, don't drink it.
Are there drinks that can affect the result?
Yes. Milk-based or creamy drinks can cause a false positive. Very acidic drinks, red wine and dark-colored drinks can make the result harder to read or less reliable. Clear and light-colored drinks give the clearest results.
What should I do if the test is positive?
Stop drinking right away and keep the glass if you can. Tell a friend you trust and let the bar staff know. Don't leave alone. If you feel dizzy, confused or unwell, get medical help immediately or call 911.

Yes. InkyNail sticks to natural nails as well as gel, acrylic and press-ons, as long as the surface is clean, dry and free of oil or hand cream. Peel off gently from one edge when you're done.
